james -- sculptures
Hello,
(The Telecom debate team, in their debate against the ESCP team, recently proved that "Art is the Highest Achievement of Humanity"...
I hope it's really true....)
Several of my bronze sculptures (and perhaps a couple of drawings) will be exhibited in a group show in the town hall of Gentilly from 22 Feb to 3 March....
The opening is this Friday evening starting at 6:30pm...
Of course everyone is invited...
(I'll be at the exhibit Tuesday 26 Feb, from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday 2 March, from 3pm to 7pm...
my wife, Danielle Rivier, who's also exhibiting her computer art, will be there on Sat 23 Feb 3pm to 7pm, and Thursday 28 Feb from 12pm to 3pm.)
all the best

invitation to lecture at U of Chicago Paris Center-- Tuesday 5 Feb, 19:30
Dear students,
Those of you who are free next Tuesday evening (Feb 5th) might want to attend a lecture that's being given at the Paris center of the University of Chicago on "International Trade and Energy Policy".
(Please see invitation from Arnaud below). The center is near the "tres grand bibliothèque" near the river and the next to last stop of the 62 bus line.
The speaker, Prof. Elliot Feldman, is an internationally acclaimed lawyer and specialist on International Trade (and China and Chinese trade relations).
(you should RSVP on Friday if you plan to go.)
More information about him here:

And here is a link to information about another lecture he gave last November in China (with a link to a video):
